How we handle buyer data
These rules apply to every order in Pebble Pets and can’t be switched off
- Buyer details are removed 30 days after shipment For marketplace orders we delete the buyer’s name, email, phone and street address. The postcode area and the order lines stay, so your reports still work.
- Logs are kept for 12 months Activity and connection logs older than that are deleted automatically.
- Marketplace buyers are never used for marketing Marketing exports leave them out. Only buyers from your own store who opted in are included.
- Breaches are reported within 24 hours If buyer data is ever exposed, we tell you, the affected marketplaces and the regulator within 24 hours.
